Seems could not get over with the happy memories, fun and excitement of our wedding :-) so we agreed, with our good friend, Kathy Dacanay, that we should have a post-wedding photo shoot, to recapture the sweetness and romance of our big day.

...And so, last September 23, Sunday at 1:00 in the afternoon, we went to Ritz hotel at Garden Oasis, Obrero to do the photo shoot. We'd planned to take some shots at the garden but the weather did not cooperate so we ended up staying at the room of the hotel.
Recapturing the excitement and fun during our big day
It was great! I was able to do the angle shots that were not captured during the pre-wedding ceremony. The window angle was terrific! This time we're a bit relax, comfortable and carefree unlike on the actual wedding day that we're very tense. Kathy did a wonderful job (hehehe) for us!

We'd so much fun and laughter during the photo shoot, the weather was great and the ambiance of the hotel room was so relieving, loved it because it offered a panoramic view of the horizon. We ordered our dinner from KFC and around 9:00 in the evening, our friends went home.

OUR WEDDING DAY
August 21, 2012, Tuesday

At the church
At the reception

As the warm morning sunshine spread its romantic rays throughout the earth, excitement and great anticipation for a wonderful life ahead builds up inside our thoughts.

After only few hours of sleep, we woke up early feeling refreshed and went to North Palm Hotel and Garden to get ready.

As with most brides in the modern world who wanted nothing but to look lovely on their wedding day, me too dreamed to appear fabulous. Joveth Pichon, who already transformed several brides into a picture of loveliness in the past, did a magical makeup style for me.

Everything went smoothly and we arrived in the church separately without hurdles. While preparing for our turn to take a step on the aisle, we saw friends, relatives and colleagues coming in and we’re deeply touched with their presence and for spending their precious time with us.

We were more pleased and felt special when we saw the UIC President, Sister Marissa Viri, the VPs, Sister Mauricia Villarmil and Sister Carol Animas, the former Dean of the ND/HRM program, Sister Nenette Laus who travelled from Manila just to be with us and the University Registrar, Sister Lorey Santos. We're  glad they made it to the ceremony despite their busy schedules.

Enthusiasm and thrill swarmed deep inside as the ceremony started, our dreams to be together at last had finally come and at that moment no other things in mind than anticipating a happy celebration and a blissful life ahead.

A week leading to our big day was a stressful one, anxieties and worries shrouded our thoughts on what might happen during the ceremony, our constant fear was “What if we stutter when we recite our vows” but God is good, on the big day, tension was controlled and we uttered our vows glibly.

Days before, we were able to secure a permission from UIC to let us used the two buses to provide the UIC personnel for a convenient ride going to the reception area.

At the reception, we’re more pleased and glad that guests had come to join us in a thanksgiving celebration. There was a photobooth at the entrance area, and we're very thankful to Maam Leonora Caminade, Dean of the Accountancy and Business Administration program at UIC, for sponsoring this stylish souvenir booth.

No exact amount of words could ever describe how happy we were during our wedding day. For the moral, financial and other form of tangible support showered to us by our family, relatives, dearest colleagues and big bosses of UIC.

We're very grateful for the generosity and kindness of everyone who attended, who extended support and who shared their blessings to make our wedding celebration a truly successful one. Thank you so much!
