Our Honeymoon Getaway!

Finally! It’s time to relax and head off to a terrific beach for some relaxation!
Samal Suites at Pearl Farm
Samal House where we stayed for one night and one day

Following a very stressful period of the preparation leading to our big day, the least we can do to reward ourselves with serenity is to embark into a romantic honeymoon adventure.

What could be more fascinating than spend it in a romantic beach?

We spent our second night as newlyweds at the gorgeous Pearl Farm Beach Resort off the coast of the Island Garden City of Samal. A perfect place to loosen up indeed.

We are very grateful that our friend, Miss Joice Lagat, sponsored this one day and one night honeymoon getaway. We were joined there by some of our good friends who, in some ways, supported us during the preparation and the big day.

It was truly a fantastic day for us, allowing even one day to unwind and de-stress. The day was very fine when we arrived, it was our first time to go to a world-class beach resort and the accommodation was truly remarkable. You know the feeling when you are being treated as VIP even for just one day, it will really last for a lifetime and the memories were just so overtly fascinating and absorbing!

We had a great time with each other and with our dear friends, there were lots of laughter while discovering what’s inside our room, checking every corner curious why the rate is so expensive (lol!), we moved from one room to another and exchanged fits of giggle with what we discovered (for example the pricing of snacks and drinks inside the refrigerator, etc.).

We were billeted at one of the most expensive rooms - the Samal House, smack between the Samal Suites and Mandaya Houses. Its original accommodation rate per house is a staggering P10,000 per night! Jing Tagaan, an employee at Pearl Farm and sister of our former colleague, Rowena Tagaan, was kind enough to offer us an employee rate so it goes down to P2,200 per night. Joice booked 3 rooms.

We spent dinner at the resort's restaurant, a cozy place with visibly expensive food haha!Buffet price for dinner has an astounding amount of P1,100.00 naks! So we had eaten almost every food displayed there, even the yucky Japanese ube cake lol!

On the following morning, we went to Malipano Island, just opposite Pearl Farm with expensive villas that has a whooping rate (per villa) of P25,000 ++ per night, we just posed for pictures there. The place was great and the surrounding was so cool and quiet.

At 2:00 PM we're back in the city. Such a fascinating day spent with our dearest friends!

Not the usual Honeymoon stuff where we could be alone but a group tour with people we trusted so much so it was a fulfilling escape from the toxic life in the city. We enjoyed each moment and the day was filled with excitement and pleasure.

Special thanks to Joice Lagat for this once-in-a-lifetime free accommodation.
